He has met frequently with Congressman Pete Olson of District TX22 in Sugar Land, Texas, Mayor Joe Zimmerman of Sugar Land, Mayor Yolanda Ford of Missouri City, Texas, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, and City Council members in each of these cities. Current participating partners of the F2F Music Foundation are the Fort Bend Education Foundation, and Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, all working with Vel in raising awareness of F2F.

Two Men Shaking Hands

FORT BEND INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

F2F worked with Willowridge staff and music students for a Jazz concert that was held in April! It was a school-wide initiative, procuring the participation of multiple departments and student organizations. We are extremely excited for the wide range of support from the Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees, superintendents, administrators, faculty, and participation of students to produce these shows! A portion of the ticket sales will be going toward funding to provide instruments for youth who are unable to afford to obtain their own.
